Caravan workshop of new technologies in Digital Photogrammetry and Remote sensing has attracted the interest of many specific offices. All lectures were presented by the leading professors in digital photogrammetry and remote sensing: Prof. Shunji Murai – Japan, Prof. Armin Gruen – Switzerland, Prof. Clive Fraser – Australia and Dr.-Ing. Achim Hellmeier – Germany. Many advance image technologies in the world were showed such as:Modern Close-Range Photogrammetry, 3D Information Extraction from Single Satellite Images via Monoplotting, Image-based 3D Modeling for Natural and Cultural Heritage Objects, etc… At the workshop, some knowledge and experience were discussed and exchanged.
Success of Caravan workshop has promote the cooperation between Vietnam Association of geodesy, cartography, remote sensing and International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote sensing. That’s really the good opportunity to bring new advance technologies in the world to Vietnam
