On January 21, 2005, GeoInfo Co., Ltd and JICA Vietnam signed the contract of providing ASTER images to the project for constructing GIS open source laboratory located at Information Institute, Hanoi National University. According to this contract, GeoInfo Co., Ltd will supply JICA Vietnam with a large number of satellite images with different processing levels that include digital elevation mode. GeoInfo Co., Ltd will provide about 80 ASTER images and 10 program WinASEAN 4.0 to JICA Vietnam in 20 days time as from the day of signing the contract.
